i'm a right hander, but i carry the same amount of weights for both my arms and also do equal reps for both. unfortunately my right arm is still bigger than my left one..and the difference in size is pretty darn obvious too

sometimes, our arms become unbalanced because we "feel" them differently, pretty much like how we can easily write with our writing hand but can only scribble with the other. To fix this imbalance, instead of training the left arm more, train it with more focus. Feel every rep and make sure you contract your left biceps/triceps hard. Dumbbell exercises help because they separate the workload between arms. And most of all, train harder, cause they bigger both arms are, the less obvious the size differential will be. :)
