Well,it started when i was still a small kid. You know,4 years old with no front teeth singing twinkle twinkle little star . I don't think i could even pronounce anything correctly at that time. 

I was shy and had stage fright. But my big break came when i was 9. It was patriotic week. And I found a classmate to do a song with me. Unfortunately,they only allowed solo singing. My partner chickened out. And I was alone. LOL. When the teacher called my name,I was shaking,sweating like hell.

I went up sang what i rehersed. The adrenalin was awesome. It was then i realize this is what i wanna do for the rest of my life. LOL. It's a lil' dramatic i know. 

of course that was a patriotic song. So i went for english songs instead. Its was children's day. My song was the ever popular "uptown girl' resang by Westlife (That was  quite popular then :P). My mum even took me to the saloon to fix my hair (It was kinda a disaster though). LOL. I spoke mandarin at home so it's quite difficult to sing in english at that time. So I guess that's the reson Why I didn't win.

Me and my best friends were fans of You know,pop like hilary duff, high school musical,hannah montana. WE were prefects then. and we were suppose to clean the prefect's room now and then. So it was like our secret rock zone. We'll bring lyrics to sing along.

I went back the next year well prepared,but i didn't even made it through semi final. It was sad. 

Then came secondary school. I won my first competiton in Form 2. I sang an Avril Lavigne's song. After that year, I was quite active in anything that has to so with singing. I'll be dying to go on stage again. The feeling of the crowd's cheering and applause was awesome. This is how I'm gonna Get people's attention. With my voice. And that was the time i came close with a guitar. I learned myself and from my friends. Then when I could finally sing and play,I went up the stage with a guitar.

My music taste change drastically. From teen pop,to punk rock. you know from hilary duff to avril lavigne. And now Paramore. Hayley williams is a great role model. Though i can't bellt sky high notes like her. They songs are what teen's life are all about. 

After I got a taste of punk rock,It was then I realize that i wanna sing in a band. Though singing in a band is way harder and singing alone with a guitar,but i just love the feeling of having rocking instruments like the electric guitar and drums behind me.
